Ok, then void the deal and who is the better team? Like I said, Kyrie is still under contract for 2 years with Cleveland. I don't care what their relationship off the court is, the Cavs are a better team than Boston with Kyrie on the floor. Boston knows that, especially knowing that IT4 is hurt pretty serious. Boston has ZERO leverage! If Lebron walks, then the Cavs build the team around Kyrie. Pretty simple!
One more thing, the Cavs have a great partnership with The Cleveland Clinic, which is one of the best hospitals in the world. If the Cavs had anybody from the Clinic as part of this physical, then I 100% believe Cleveland's stance on the injury over Boston's.
This is a homer take.
Thomas' injury was priced in. Now, could the hip be worse than Cleveland thought at the time? Sure. But, I'd doubt that Boston is going to sweeten the pot. Cleveland isn't going to get a better deal than this, even with Thomas' injury IMO.

The most I can see Boston sweetening the pot by is maybe a late 2nd or two.
More than that and Cleveland can let the deal fail and have a pissed off Kyrie sticking around.

Yep. Boston still has all the leverage.
