You completely missed the point. I wasnt comparing those things.

I was simply pointing out the faulty logic of "we will let him live his life." You clearly will make decisions for your young child you deem unsafe where the risks arent worth it. Football just isnt one of those for you, which is perfectly fine. But it isnt because you are "just letting him live his life."

Kid n story was 17.. he wasnt a 10 yr old. He is old enough to decide if he wants to play football. But you wana use comparison that i may as well let him do blow and join the kkk, but when i bring up not letting him drive because of risk its (laughable) because driving is necessary for every day life... well its not for a kid, or a teen. But i would imagine when yours hits 16 he will be driving
