Which college has a good track record of recruiting

and handling QB's over time?

Do they get at least a solid QB a class or not necessarily?
quote:Oh, they don't.
How do they keep the non-starters from transferring?

No matter the school, if you recruit enough good QBs, there will be transfers.
Georgia Recruits
2000-David Greene(stars not available)
2001-DJ Shockley(5*, #16)
2002-Joe Tereshinski(4*, #157)
2004-Blake Barnes(4*, #216)
2005-Joe Cox(3*, #298)
2006-Matt Stafford(5*, #6)
2007-Logan Gray(4*, #106)
2009-Aaron Murray(5*, #18)
2009-Zach Mettenberger(4*, #124)
2010-Hutson Mason(*3, #696)
2011-Christian Lemay(4*, #71)
2012-Faton Bauta(3*, #445)
2013-Brice Ramsey(4*, #100)
2014-Jacob Park(4*, #114)
2016-Jacob Eason(5*, #5)
2017-Jake Fromm(4*, #44)
Transfers
Blake Barnes-Delta State
Logan Gray-moved to WR, transferred to Colorado
Zach Mettenberger-kicked off team, LSU
Christian Lemay-Jacksonville State
Faton Bauta-Colorado State
Jacob Park-Iowa State
Did Well
David Greene(1st team SEC, 2nd team SEC twice)Drafted 3rd rd
DJ Shockley(1st team SEC), Drafted 7th rd
Matt Stafford(2nd team SEC), Drafted #1 overall
Aaron Murray(1st team SEC, 3rd team AA), Drafted 5th rd
Busts or nobodies
Joe Tereshinski-106 career passes
Joe Cox-started yr between Stafford and Murray, 8-5
Hutson Mason-started 2014, not good, not awful, 10-3
Brice Ramsey-better punter than QB, will be backup this year
For the most part, Georgia has done a good job of having good QB play. David Greene(2001-2004), DJ Shockley(2005), Matt Stafford(2006-2008), and Aaron Murray(2010-2013) account for 12 years of the 16 since 2001. There really was no one for 2009, so Joe Cox had to start. Hutson Mason was ok, although he shouldnt have even gotten the chance but Lemay and Ramsey were busts, so he had to play in 2014, and that compounded even further in 2015 when they had to go out and get a crap transfer in Greyson Lambert since everyone else was bad. The present and future looks pretty good right now with Eason and Fromm, and possibly Justin Fields.
