I'm amazed that so many people refuse to apply critical thinking to this story and just react based on emotion.
They didn't seek out anything. They were with a group of 2 high schools on a trip to D.C. These trips are as common as they come for high school students. They didn't seek out Howard U to troll black folks, they got off a charter bus with hundreds of other kids to get some food. As to why Howard was chosen as a place to eat? My guess is that organizers chose a facility that could accommodate a very large group of people. It's much easier and quicker than trying to feed a few hundred people at McDonald's. Also, most casual dining restaurants don't have the space for a couple hundred people at any time of the day. So please god stop with all of this fantasy about them seeking out a HBCU to antagonize black folks

Anyone foolish enough to think that it is White people who are the true racists in this country, is a fricking moron.
Honest take, 15 -20% whitey is truly racists. 80% +++ black. Black posters reading this ..... be honest...
Although, I'm sure that white percentage is raising up pretty rapidly.
As everyone knows, the BEST WAY to solve conflicts and issues ------ is to simply point the finger and blame one side. And if the one side uses facts and logic to state their case....just close your ears and yell the new magic word ...Racist.
Seems to be working according to plan.

That's just plain idiotic of you to say. So someone wearing a hat that supports the POTUS is offensive??! It's folks like you and your thought process that have drug this country down to the level it's currently at.
If you don't agree with the president fine, then you don't have to like him. But when you start threatening others for wearing or supporting the agenda of the oval office then your just wrong and closed-minded.
