One of my concerns about a civil war or any kind of instability is that it provides an avenue for ambitious men to increase their power. "Chaos is a ladder," etc. Those sorts of people rarely have the interest of the nation at heart (see the last century of the Roman republic.)

Not to mention that I'd prefer not to kill fellow Americans or destroy their property if at all possible.

If you are talking A CIVAL WAR between blacks and Whites it would be over very quickly and the black folk would NOT like the outcome...... The leaders of the black movement would be gone within a few hours and the rest would be left to defend for themselves and would run away from what was facing them.... Its pretty simple.......
