Question for any centers or QBs out there

Two of our QBs are left-handed (Narcisse and McMillan). Does the center have to present the ball differently to a lefty vs rightie at the snap? In the paper today, it sounds like they may have some red zone plays designed for Narcisse.

It shouldn't make a difference right to left. It's more of a feel for each QB and center to figure out no matter what their dominant hand is.

It's all on how the qb wants the ball. Either you
Snap it with the laces up or with the laces facing the right and fold the laces under the ball when you snap it.

No more difference than getting used to any other QB besides the one you're used to snapping to. Takes some practice to get adjusted to a new QB under center

Asked my buddy who played center (I played left bench) he said basically the ball should be parallel to the ground and the only different between QBs is how far up his arse the put their hands.

Typically, the QB will have his dominant hand above the other, so shouldn't matter left or right handed. But, if you change a right handed center with a lefty, whole different ballgame. Kinda like left Twix & right Twix. Totally different...

The real question......does your tackle move with a lefty to protect their blindside?

When I played Center I always loved a QB that would put his hands under me palm side up.

No, the center just rotates the ball (to where it's hitting the qbs hand in grasping position) the same as he snaps it back, to where the laces hit the qbs fingers, or the spaces hit the qbs fingers, depending on how he likes to recieve the snap. It is the quarterbacks job to get his hand placement right. Unless the qb, specifies a certain way he likes the ball to be snapped, it is the centers job to snap the ball consistently and let the qb make any changes in his hand placement.

I would also imagine that if we are subbing LN in for red zone it would be to run plays to his skill set, so shot gun may be utilized for zone read or spreading the formation out.

No. Just like some of the other people have said, the center and QB just need to practice together to get use to each other (hand placement and snap location).
