I have the 22 with a 175 and it works fine. The only time I have an issue is in a cross chop in 2+ seas. There is a HUGE difference in the ride between the 20 and 22. The 22 also allows for 2 ice chests if needed up front. The 32 gallon tank will take you further than you probably want to go in a day. I average 5-5.5 mpg a trip. Like the others said though, if you plan on going offshore a lot look for a glass boat. If it's only a couple times and you mainly fish marsh go for it. Easy clean up, shallow draft, plenty fast.

I heard the 22 rides a lot bettwr but 2+ seas would beat that xpress down. You not "running" in 2' close chop in any xpress. Not trying to get into a wave argument though.
True, 30 gallons would get me a good ways but was cutting it close over 2 days vs having that extra 20-40 gallons a glass boat would have.
