I see what your saying. Personally I went from a wife in medschool in '09 to a wife who's a physician in '17. It was hard not to upgrade my boat and I'm very satisfied with the ROI my xpress provided.

Buying "small" and moving up works for some, not for others and most decisions are based on current economic situations, not what you may earn in the future (smart BTW).
