Like I said this seems like the right approach for you.....for me, I get what I want the first time and I'm good to go. I don't have the biggest bass boat but I have the one I want; got it in '12 new. I have no ambition to trade up or get a new one.....unless of course this one sinks then all bets are off.

Buying "small" and moving up works for some, not for others and most decisions are based on current economic situations, not what you may earn in the future (smart BTW).
