As of yesterday all conservatives = alt right

That's what they have been trying to accomplish in order to silence people and justify violence towards anyone who disagrees with them. Yesterday helped that agenda tremendously. It's sickening.

It's only going to make the Alt Right more powerful. Several posters here classify themselves as Alt Right, while judging from their posting history they don't seem to be at all.

Almost all of the Republicans spoke out against that group of alt-right and the President for being so weak about it.
Trump showed his lack of willingness to attack these hate groups and it will tar his legacy even further. The Republicans will be ok.

Because I'm not a member of the groups they want me to be labeled as any violence directed my way will be met with a medium caliber response.
Having said that, I don't know any members of any hate groups from the left or right. Therefore there is little chance of me running into any of these kooks while they are in mob mode.
Just like 99% of Americans, I just don't give a shite about either set of idiots as long as they stay on their side of the street.

These terms seem to have a staying power to them because they are too general and have no history unlike the KKK and Nazis. It's easier to generalize everyone into.

They are about as much of an actual functional group as BLM is despite what the media tells you. He was smart to stay away from justifying it.
