If we fight a war with North Korea, it has to be total, complete, destructive, and no holds barred war. Take the gloves off. No fricking around.
And then when the enemy is defeated, no nation building bullshite and sticking around to "help" people. We just get the frick out and that's the end of the story.

This will never happen, ever. Once you break it, you have to rebuild it. If you don't, and you haul arse like we did in Iraq under Obama, someone is gonna fill the vacuum you create by leaving. Hauling arse leaves the door open for another piece of garbage to grab power, and it wouldn't be long before you are right back where you started.

If you get out China will annex nk. We would try to help the south reunify; however I expect that China would invade from the north to create a buffer much like Germany was split after WW II
