Laziness can't be fixed

my dog used to piss on the back porch literally two feet from the yard.

after using the whip and retrain technique a few times, she got it down.

most "bad dogs" aren't in fact bad, they just have lazy owners. not saying this is the case here, but generally speaking

Rub Cayenne pepper where it's chewing. It'll learn

Buddy of mine had a lab that would chew on window sills. Someone recommended this. He tries it. Goes to work.

Long story short. Dog loves cayenne. Comes home, every sill is chewed to hell and the dog got diarrhea and shite all over the house. Hilarious.

We moved into a house a little over a year ago with a fenced in backyard. One of the selling points was that we could just let the dogs go outside instead of walking them. Back when we used to walk the dogs in our old neighborhood, they never crapped or peed on the concrete, they always went in the grass. Now, even on pleasant days they're too lazy to walk 75 feet to the grass and they go all over the steps and the patio. It's nasty to have to avoid landmines when I go to the garage, or my car, or the backyard. This morning, my wife slipped on dog crap and fell. Anyone have any recommendations to get the little rascals to use the lawn like God intended? I was looking online and they were suggesting spraying vinegar on the concrete and then scattering cayenne pepper. I like that suggestion, because it's a cheap, easy fix. Does this work?

If I use this he is guaranteed to piss/poop on the spot. Not a good solution for my daschund. Glad I don't have a pit bull. I want to see the idiot that pops a large pit bull with this and lives....

We only have one problem pooper. He was a pound puppy and I guess picked up his preference to poop on concrete there. We installed an aerial dog run over the grass and kept him on that until he did his business in the grass. It took about week.
