Was thinking of converting kindle to PDF. Have also been suggested to use audible. Any other ideas?

Use the kindle app on your phone.

audible
Use it for work everyday. I generally buy the Kindle version from Amazon, and add the audible narration for a discount.
Listen during the day and read at night.
ETA: There is also an audible Chrome extension for desktop use. Syncs all your books.

You can use Kindle Cloud Reader to read books on your work computer if you have a desk-type job.

Those sound like good ideas. Any way to read offline?

Both Kindle and Audible download the book to your device, so a live connection is not required.

Close door to office. Lean back in chair. Read.

Would be hella awkward considering there's like 12 ppl in the office and everyone's door is open all the time

I'd be worried about people constantly walking by and seeing my on my phone.
Audible seems good just don't know how easy it would be to focus.
Kindle reader app also seems good just don't know if my employer would be able to monitor whether I'm working or reading all day.

Read.amazon.com
Log in to your account and have at it. I borrow most of my ebooks from Overdrive. My book takes up half of my left screen, I get in about 30 minutes on a typical work day.

I use app on my phone (meetings, lunch, poops) or pull it up on one of the two monitors I have at my desk.

Does your library offer online content? I use my library's online access for content all the time.

My workplace is laid back, with runs of down time. I bring a book (I love the feel of paper), kick my feet up, and read during down time. Everyone knows not to bother me when I assume the position, lest they receive "the look".

So you're an operator?

Step 1: Open book
Step 2: Read
That's what I do.
