I ask the same thing about hogs on WMAs. Hogs are a huge nuisance that are taking over our public lands and wetlands, but the state makes it almost impossible to hunt them on WMAs. The only time you can bring a weapon on a WMA is during hunting seasons. So you can't do anything during the summer months, and then on some WMAs, like Manchac, you can't even bring a rifle over .22 cal. So you're stuck with using a 22, 17, or shotgun with bird shot.

but during duck season you can't have a rifle with you and #2 steel ain't getting it done
