If they will come in and eat the grass (read: weeds) growing in my yard since the flood, I will welcome them.

I have about 7500 SF of grass they took out close to 5000 sf of it in a couple of weeks last year.

I got the moths now. I guess they will be worms soon and then dead grass. Frick.

Had army worms on my football field last week. I've never seen so many

I had some moths about 2 weeks ago. Not sure if the rain here in Nola drowned them or what but I stopped seeing them. I was waiting until I could see damage on the grass to spray for the worms.
Last year they killed most of my back yard.

Speaking from experience, if you wait till then you are hosed. The damage is already done. You spray when you see the moths.

Had to google this to see what they were. Have never heard of them before. I guess I'm lucky we don't have em here in this part of Virginia. Do they make good fish bait?

50 lbs. per acre, or a little over 1 lb. per 1000 sqft. Not sure what setting that calibrates to.

I bought six of these on amazon yesterday. Never used before. Going to give it a try. I had 8 pallets of new sod laid less than 2 weeks ago after some yard work. Already seeing those bastards.

I sprayed bug be gone this morning--grass, shrubs, brick, everything. I did see a few moths scatter. I used this last year and it also helped with mosquitos.
