Any names that we might add?

Coleman is looking like Megatron in camp

In other words who can we add in mid August who is more of a playmaker than the guys we have (who are pretty damned good at making plays BTW)? I'll let you answer that yourself

I seriously doubt we add anyone that wants above veteran league minimum. Hopefully we can find someone in training camp & the preseason out of the guys already on the roster.
Brandon Coleman, Tommylee Lewis(he's been pretty good the past few days), Corey Fuller, Jake Lampman, Travin Dural...I assume one of these guys will step up & provide a 4th threat at the WR position. We also have Jordan Williams-Lambert & Rashad Lawrence, but they're pretty much fighting for a spot on the practice squad imo.

I assume he meant we need to find one more to go along with our top 3 WR's. If he meant what you said, then you're right...we're not going to find one better than our top 3 WR's. Ginn has questionable hands, but even he is a playmaker. He's been getting good separation in camp so far, & he might be the fastest guy on the team.

Brees has never had a big time threat wr here. I guess that's the way the offense runs. Maybe spread the ball to many and not just one big time threat like a Brandon Marshall, Green, or a guy like your boy from Texas A&M that went to Tampa

It would be nice to have one of those guys, but we easily have above average WR's, & we probably get better value at the position than any team in the NFL. Thomas will easily go over 1,000 yards, Snead will probably go over 1,000 yards, & Ginn will probably get at least 700 yards...we're fine at WR. We have to pay Snead next year anyway.
Cap Numbers
Ginn - 3.0 mil
Thomas - 1.16 mil
Fuller - 690k
Snead - 615k
Coleman - 615k

I think Colston & Brandin Cooks were good WR's...not elite though. Michael Thomas is just in his 2nd year, but he should be that 1st tier WR that we've been needing. I mean, he was our best WR last year as a rookie.
At this point in Brandon Marshall's career...I'm not sure you can say that he's better than Michael Thomas. Not sure you can find 10 WR's in the league that are better than Mike Thomas.

The Playmaker himself, Michael Irvin

Coleman has come a long way and I expect him to be outside opposite Thomas. Snead and Ginn underneath or taking tops off.

ALVIN motherfricking KAMARA
But seriously though, I hope we turn him into a slot receiver.

Coleman had another great night last night. He stood out among WR's. Thomas looked great as normal. Ted didn't dress I don't believe.

We'll find out what we have come September. Maybe we'll have a surprise and someone will step up.

yep.
if coleman is looking this good that is fantastic and complete gravy now. We will be solid with MT, WS and TG. getting a solid 4th receiver who is finally ready to show up is huge. add Kamara and there is your empty backfield 5 WR set.

I will be keeping my eyes on Corey Fuller in preseason.
