yep...I hate to see us with so little depth, but some of this may be due to the young guys climbing the depth chart faster than expected.

We only have 11 guys, it isn't like they have very far to climb to get into the two deep.

This is exactly right. The guys coming in just out worked and out performed the guys ahead of them. They couldn't handle the competition. You don't want that on your team anyway. You don't want guys who are lazy in the classroom either. That's not what LSU is about or needs especially for our lines.
We need smart, tough, strong, leaders out there willing to do what ever is necessary for the ultimate team goal. If that is starting one year then playing backup to a better athlete the next well then that's what you do. All while still giving 110% effort in everything you do.
Herron is a great example. Kid was a 5* coming out of highschool and was passed up by others but he never quit, despite having trouble in the classroom. I think it pays off for him big this year.
