It's a good thing we have Orgeron now then huh. He's actually focusing on building our OL with quality depth and recruits.

If anything this is the previous regimes doing. How could it not be. We had the exact same issues with the DL 3 years ago but is now fixed because of Orgeron. Same issues with LB 2 years ago and is now fixed again thanks to Orgeron. I have no doubts that he will do the same for our OL. Miles sucked at keeping good depth here and this is the results.

Because when the previous regime was let go there were 16 scholarship players in line to be on the team this year. Five of those are now no longer with the team and it all happened since the end of last season.

The recruiting and depth on the OL has been an issue for yrs just not the biggest. Les did a great job recruiting the skill positions excluding QB. Since Les left ground has been made up on the DL, LB and QB but there was not enough progress on the OL.

Man you are right on with your comments. You should start a topic.

DL & LB were thin, not anymore. We continue to be good at CB & S. In O's first partial year recruiting, he signs two stud QB's. Future QB problems fixed. Now he has to fix the OL.

We should be real good at WR & TE this season. Obviously, we're in good shape at RB provided Guice stays healthy. Look for Darrel Williams to have a very good year.

So tired of the Saban never did anything wrong bullshite. He had several up & down years, but people forget that.

The lack of depth on the OL was inherited. It is the result of poor recruiting on the part of Miles & Grimes. By my count, we have 11 healthy OL and unless something catastrophic happens, we'll be good enough on offense. I have not been a fan of our OL coach. He hasn't recruited well since he got here several years ago and I believe his job is on the line. The culture is changing under Coach O, that's why players are leaving.

Let the season play out. Sure, the OL is a concern, but let's see what happens.
