Boldens good enough for Bama but not LSU , riiiiight.

Good for you Slade, go get you a natty!

I think it's more the case we still have bigger fish on the board

This. As bad as some of you are melting, you'd think this dude was a 5 star, can't miss recruit. He may have a good college career, but he's no more of a sure thing than Provens is and we already have that guy committed

I wonder if this would be getting so much attention if Bolden was from somewhere other than Monroe/ WM.
Sounds like we made a conscious decision that we had others higher on our board at WR/ slot.
if it was pure neglect, I might feel differently, but until proven differently, LSU has done a good job assessing receivers.

Just to be clear - I'm ok with this. I do not know Bolden or any other high school players for that matter. I originally thought that he was going to be a La. Tech or TCU type player. Hell, I even told my oldest son last year that there was no way Slade would receive an LSU offer - I was wrong.

The bigger problem (that you are seeing from so many NELA people commenting on this board) is that LSU has seemingly lost interest in this area over the last several years, unless it's a can't miss like Cam Robinson. LSU is not winning like they once were, so recruits are losing interest in LSU. If LSU doesn't want Bolden - FINE, but don't act shocked when his teammates and others aren't falling over themselves to go to LSU with the "Silent message to Mr. Bolden." - sorry, we don't know who you are - as someone posted earlier.
