What a lame lawsuit. If somebody complains about your services on Facebook than that's life.

You obviously have never owned or ran a business. A smear campaign on social media can destroy a company. The jury in this case thought as such.

The person went on a local news outlet and defamed this photographer. This goes way beyond a little Facebook rant.

I wonder if the local news outlet should take some responsibility in this.

This wasn't about the quality of the photographers work. It was over a wedding album cover.

The photographers standard package came with a standard leather album cover which was included in the price of the original package.

The couple chose an upgraded album cover, a photocover, which would have cost an additional $125.

The couple decided they weren't going to pay and wanted the photo cover for free. When told they would not get the upgraded cover for free the couple started a smear campaign suggesting that the photographer was holding their pictures hostage unless they paid 125 for an album cover.

To the layman having to pay 125 for an album cover after already paying for the wedding photography package seems ridiculous and the thing took off like wildfire across social media.

What the couple failed to disclose in their smear campaign is they could have opted for the already included leather cover and received their album immediately. Instead they fabricated a story that was completely false.

Instead they lied on social media, TV and print media outlets and the photgraphers business was destroyed.

At one point the photographer even offered the photo cover for free, but it was already too late and the smear campaign had already taken off.

This lady was a high volume wedding and portrait studio who grossed over 500k in revenue every year. This was not some mom with a camera.

Did you even read the things that have been posted? Did you pay ANY attention to the things that the defendants did? It went well past complaints on FB.

You are an idiot and would probably side with the wedding couple. People like you deserve to root for UF.

It's a terrible lawsuit and dangerous verdict. Hopefully the couple can get it thrown out

This is a stupid response to this issue. Why don't you read more and post less.
