Any Houston area Duck Hunters here?

Looking for a couple members to fill a private duck lease in Brookshire, TX
900 acre rice farm
flooded rice
pit blinds
roost pond
some guest privileges (basically no guests on opening weekends. To clarify, kids are not considered guests so long as they are not grown adults)
decent dove hunting
great teal hunting
great group of laid back hunters who mostly hunt weekends. Property gets a lot of rest, which has proved helpful over the years.
$2,600 per gun, 12 guns
I do not manage this lease. I can/will put you in touch with the person who does. I can help answers questions, though.
I can/will provide my cell and/or email to interested parties.
Thanks.

To clarify, there are 2 spots open at this time. 1 spot has been filled.

My main reason for not wanting to move to Houston is the distance to hunting and fishing and here you are offering up a cheap lease a stones throw from it.

Jump aboard. Out-of-towners are the best members to have.

Yes, please do. We always have one or two guys drop off for one reason or another.
I believe 2 spots remain open at this time. If anyone is interested, shoot me an email. See original post for email address.

I might be interested. What would you say was the average number of ducks killed per blind/per hunt during the last regular duck season?
How many blinds are on the 900 acres?

Tough for me to say. Teal season was pretty much limits every hunt. This has been the case the last 5 years weve hunted this place. I didn't hunt but once after opening weekend of big duck season. It is rare that more than 3 or 4 hunters are out there after opening weekend. That said we don't kill a large number of birds. I think we have 5 ponds once rice is cut. 1 pit, 1 large wooden blind on a canal, a couple of lean to style blinds. most folks hunt levees after second split. No one ever hunts, so we have never had an issue with lack of spots.

If you want to call me about it, just let me know. I'll shoot you my number.
