Trump showing the GOP base, what the GOPe really thinks about them. Flake is not a conservative he is a globalist. I have always said, that the Gop and Dems are both different wings of the woodrow wilson Dem party and this just shows I am right... Actually, the GOP is more progressive than the Dems really. The GOP believe's we should give our tax money to the world, while the Dem progressives wanted to give it to US citizens at least. Why it is not Pub against Dem anymore, it is nationalist against globalist and McCain and Flake are both big time globalist...

He doesn't like that Trump tweets so much. Well, most people don't.

Speak for yourself. I love 95% of Trump's tweets. Most Conservatives that fully understand that this is the only way for him to get his message across unfiltered by the highly liberal media like most his tweets too.

Sure, some of them are over the top, but a lot of them that at the time seem a bit crazy, actually make a lot of sense a few weeks later after some things get further exposed.

You just have to love seeing all of these far left whackjobs defending McCain and Flake.

Who's defending Flake? He talks big, but votes with Trump >95% of the time.

He has the power to get Trump's tax returns, and subpoena all sorts of things, if he really wanted to bring some sanity back. But he doesn't - he just wants to have something he can throw to Arizona moderates next year.

He's trash.

Another way he could get through unfiltered is, you know, hold a press conference. Or call in.

Trump was quite accessible during the campaign. He would call into the morning shows all the time.

He became President and is now more frightened than ever.

It is the greatest paradox of my political lifetime. A genuine clown, with the impulses of a jilted 12 year old spoiled girl and the vocabulary of a 5th grade farmboy, is in the office of POTUS - and executing an agenda that fits very well with my own political belief system.

The greatest thing a Trump presidency has done for the country is to shrink the power of the Executive branch.

The President SHOULD NOT craft or assist in the writing or passing of legislation.

The President SHOULD NOT seek to supercede the power of Congress by getting his Cabinet departments to act unilaterally when Congress won't or refuse to act when Congress does.

The President SHOULD NOT enter into international agreements without the consent of Congress.

The President is the Head of State and represents the interests of the American people abroad. He is the Commander in Chief and confers with his generals the best strategy for military action, when we are engaged in a war. He heads the Executive Branch, meaning he and his Cabinet execute the laws, the burden being on Congress to write them and the Supreme Court to interpret them beyond their original scope.

Trump is acting antithetical to the modern interpretation of Presidents because modern Presidents have acted antithetical to their own position, and we have been far the worse off for it.

If the Far Right Repubs start throwing out of the Repub Party Center Right people like Jeff Flake and John McCain, the end result is that the Dems will control both houses of Congress by 2021.
