It's the rings and total yards that people are blown away by. That's what the pro-Eli crowd falls back on in these discussions.

Brad Johnson has a ring and no one is insisting he's some incredibly player. He has two, so I get that, but it isn't just the rings. Big Ben had to put up some ridiculous seasons before his reputation elevated--and he had rings!
