Serious question, what hollywood movie is not all of this? I mean seriously? The Patriot is not a documentary anymore than Dunkirk, Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, The Deer Hunter, etc.
Everything you stated, all the movies above have additionally.
So apparently you just don't like movies that are based on past events?

you are desperately talking out of your arse. It has nothing to do with fact vs fiction, that's not my point. The Patriot was not well made. It's unintentionally campy. All of the other movies you just named received critical acclaim and won or were nominated for a host of awards. The Patriot received no critical acclaim and received no accolades whatsoever, for good reason.
