Donte at KR and PR. That kid of speed on a football field is rare. Plus, he has pretty decent vision and wiggle.

Because you say so? What did he do last year in the return game to make you think this. It is funny how the masses get so high in certain players regardless of whether or not they earn it on the field. He didn't impress me last year at all. Sure he is fast, but was out of position a lot, and was not physical at all. Hey, I hope he blows up this year.

Why do you keep bringing up his coverage and defensive skills? This thread is about returns. He was our best kick returner last year and pretty clearly has all of the skills that you want in a kick returner. Just because he didn't "wow" you last year doesn't mean he isn't the best guy for the job this year.

I bring it up just to piss you off, don't you know? You have no idea if he is the best we have this year, but you say it like it is a fact. Jesus Christ dude, quit stalking my posts and quit responding to me. He didn't wow anybody last year. His highlight of the year was Florida.

I mean, he was our best kick returner last year and is still the fastest player on the team. Obviously someone may overtake him or prove to be better. I never claimed I can see the future. I'm just giving my opinion that I think he's the best guy we have for the job. Why are you such a little twat?

Loooool. Don't flatter yourself.

Again, this doesn't mean he isn't the best guy for the job. Who DID wow people on kick returns last year? Is that now a prerequisite?

Not his acrobatic interception against Ole Miss? Cool. Just admit that you hate him because you refuse to put any blame for players mistakes on Orgeron because you're a paid schill so we can all go home.

No starters in return game.

Tm7 was taken out on punt return for az. Will never be the same.
How was Claiborne injured?

Guise holds the ball hard , but the way he drives his legs will pull the ball out if somebody gets a grip on it !

It would be helpful if you could, you know, assemble a rational thought in coherent English.

And I've never once said anything about Guice in this thread.

I think Tre White did a pretty damn good job last couple of years - only a couple of bobbles and some pretty exciting runbacks - I truly think Miles and BDP put the shackles on him and didn't allow him to field punts as aggressively as he'd have liked - and the biggest mark against him was just that - allowing some punts to roll out rather than field them.

Well he only had 7 returns all year. Guice had about double. Neither were in the too 10.

His defense was not that good last year and it was discussed by many on here. He has ability obviously, but hasn't played any.

Btw, I'll be the first to cast blame against O this year, when and if it is warranted. You are dead wrong in that regard.

11 isn't "about double" the amount of 7.

Of what? I realize neither was great, but Jackson averaged ~23 yards per return which isn't horrible.

I'm aware. Again, that's not the topic of this thread.

You think I'm an O fan...I'm not.

As for Jackson. With only 7 returns kinda skewed given he did have a 40 harder, don't remember against who. Hey, I hope he lights it up. As long as he secures the ball I'm good.
