Percentage or number of Trannys in the military?

Anyone know? Are we talking like 100, 1000, 10,000 people? I refuse to believe that the US military has a disproportionate number of half men/ half women soldiers as compared to the minuscule amount with this mental deficiency in the civilian world.

It's enough where it shouldn't be an issue at all. I told one of my friends that I doubted it was in the triple digits, and he told me they just reported that there are 1500 of them, which really shocked me. I would think that would have to be total living trans people in the military, not the number in active duty.

people are throwing out a number of 4200 which I think is complete bs. Even then that number is tiny and this shouldn't even be a national issue.

I'm not quite sure where people are getting their numbers. In some threads posters are saying 4,000 based on the 0.3% of the population being trans. But that doesn't makes sense as there are 2.2-2.4 million soldiers on active and reserve duty, which puts the number of trans at 6k-8k. So, the 4K low balls the number of trans people if you do a general population to military comparison--which is really stoopid.

They make it sound like most the military is tranny or gay.

Since it has only been in effect a few months multiply the percentage by the number of people joining in those months.

According to this article there are 1.4 million trannies on the US or .6% of the US pop
Ny times
According to Wiki their are 1,400,000 active and reserve enlisted people in the US military Wiki
So that's what 8,400
.6 % of 1,400,000.
Does that seem right? Military folks can the number be that high?

It's just people who identify as the opposite sex. I don't care that anyone feels that way, just don't give them a special category and privileges.
Trans should not be a box on the check list. You are either male or female. No special berthing/barracks, no special bathrooms, no special medical procedures, no special off time to transition. You can hang out with whoever you want and be as flamboyant as you want, just acknowledge you are what you literally are and will adhere to all facilities and standards that are already established.
Same with age. There are age requirements and restrictions too no matter how old you feel

Sigh.
You can't apply the overall rate to a non randomized group within the overall group.
Would you estimate the number of gays in San Francisco using this method
Posted on 7/26/17 at 5:57 pm to ShortyRob
I understand that.
So the number can't be that high.
I mean I'd be shocked if it were over 1,000

Do you think that the same % enlists?
I doubt it.
And is this canard about paying for surgery a real issue? I doubt it.
If the cost of elective surgery is prohibitive it would make more sense to say you cant have elective surgery using govt medical system.
Otherwise we are losing tens of millions in training invested in that group.
Holy crap, trump just pissed away more money of training than the surgeries (that may not even happen).
What evidence is there that military already paid for ANY such surgeries?
O/U .5

I've willfully avoided guessing because it's simply not possible based on rates

I don't care if the military is 50% tranny and the cost of their operations mean nothing to me in terms of barring them from service. This was the right decision.

So go xx does not want them, therefore the 100k training pissed away per person means nothing. The premise was cost. You are admitting cost is not true reason you want to bar.
All that training is worth 100s of k per. Far more than the few who would want surgery on usa dime *which i doubt happens.

Those with gender dysphoria probably aren't the type to enlist, and are more likely to have other psychologically disqualifying factors than even the general populace. I very much doubt it is that high, especially given the relatively small timeframe in which they could enlist.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_demographics_of_the_United_States
0.3% of the pop.
How many of those are in the military? Not that many.
So this issue was so important it was 90% of the questions from the media to the spokesperson of the president of the United States of America.

Trans people are far less likely to join the military than normal people (well... until Barry made it a free transition grab) so I think it's closer to 1000
