What are everyone's favorites? Looking to catch up on stuff I've missed.

in no real order

Slowdive- Slowdive
Big Thief- Capacity
Fleet Foxes- Crack Up
The New Pornographers- Whiteout Conditions
Broken Social Scene- Hug of Thunder
Charly Bliss- Guppy
Sorority Noise- You’re Not As ____ As You Think
Spoon- Hot Thoughts
Priests- Nothing Feels Natural
Kendrick Lamar- Damn
Cloud Nothings- Life Without Sound
Japandroids- Near to the Wild Heart of Life
The Magnetic Fields- 50 Song Memoir
Mount Eerie- A Crow Looked at Me

I don’t feel this year has provided a classic, undeniable AOTY yet, but it has been very deep. Judging by the three War on Drugs singles so far, that undeniable AOTY may be coming August 25th.

I like Seaward's list. And agree with his overall impression: lots of good albums, but nothing that I'd call great. I'd also add Hurray for Riff Raff and Diet Cig to his list.

Tons of great music this year, but I recommend Process - Sampha and Ctrl - SZA since I just haven't seen either of those albums get a lot of mention on this board.

It has grown on me alot. that debbie harry track is awesome.

But yeah, it isn't as good as the last one. But that would have been the album of the year in 2014 if not for WoD.

2014 also had Metamodern Sounds in country music and run the jewels 2. Lost in the Dream was my #1 followed by these two.
