Cadillac Ranch maybe a tourist trap but gotta admit it's fun. Amarillo had some great restauracnts for BBQ too.

There is a section of Route 66 that runs thru the older part of Amarillo filled with people driving old cars and diners
just like in the 50's. Walkable and lots of tourist there. Worth the stop to see how people lived back in the day.
