Our criminal justice system is fricking trash. The ridiculous appeals system, no "eye for an eye", etc.

Our punishments do not fit the crimes. I was recently reading about the "toolbox" killers in Los Angeles. One of them is eligible for parole in a few years, while the other is still alive, waiting on death row for 35 years. Their crimes were so heinous, the lead detective committed suicide a few years after in part because he was haunted by the depravity of their acts.

We need cruel and unusual punishment, we need to be able to torture people. We need to execute certain criminals immediately. We need to lock career criminals up for life. Get rid of the almost endless appeals.

A guy like this needs to be tortured and then executed on-site.
