I'm 42 years old 6'2 and fluctuate from 216 lbs to 220. I eat pretty damn clean with the worst thing I consume being a peanut butter and honey sandwich. I can't seem to get rid of this last layer of belly fat although I can see the outline of my abs starting to appear. I've been working out religiously now for about 4 months and eating clean for close to 8. Do I have to completely cut carbs out in order to get rid of this layer of fat or just keep plugging away and be patient?

To be fair, that's about the worst thing I can imagine.

Are you a body builder? This just strikes me as heavy for that height. By comparison, several of my friends who have cut carbs are 6'1" or 6'2" and weigh in the 175 range.

Eliminate carbs for a month and those abs will be way more noticeable.
