re: Is there any chance we get a satisfying ending to GoT?

I think Jamie kills himself and Cersi.
I think Dany dies fighting the white walkers.
Jon has to get the Iron Throne. He's the only one that provides any resolution to the saga. Anyone else sits on the iron throne and this story goes on in perpetuity.
Hell Sansa even tells him "You're good at this." He is.

Still way tamer than the books. "Not the dogs!"
Sophie Turner loved the scene but still tried to make the writers feel guilty.

Nah breh, Arya will pretend to be Jamie to get close to Cersei and then kill her. This would satisfy the prophesy.

2. The political makeup of Westeros, including the kingdoms and rulers
3. The fates of the remaining Starks, Lannisters, and Targaryens
I agree with all these.

It would be bullshite. Jaime himself has to do the deed. Jaime is the only acceptable person to kill Cersei.
Plus this also implies that Arya kills Jaime beforehand, since she has to take his face before he does it. Anyone a Faceless Man impersonates is already dead.

You're right Jamie's not on her list but Cersei is and that would be the easiest way to kill her.

But she has to kill Jaime before doing that.

She doesn't have to kill him herself.

Well I don't want Jaime to go down fricking pointlessly and certainly not before Cersei. The theory sucks. Jaime himself kills Cersei. No one else does.

Not sure why you're so upset. Arya pretending to be Jamie to kill Cersei would satisfy the prophecy that said she would be killed by her younger brother, and it would cross a person off Arya's list. Why are you violently shitting your pants over this?

Because does nothing for Arya's character and it takes away from Jaime's arc. And in the books, they're very clearly building up to this.

Because honestly it would be more powerful for Jamie himself to do it.
Arya doing it would just be fan service and just wouldn't serve the story well. I mean hell, after that, what does she have left to do? Everyone is off her list.
I think to better serve Arya and the story itself, she goes North and develops a different storyline other than just checking names off her list and leaving Jamie to deal with Cersei.

Ohhhhh well if it's in the books I guess it will be in the show.

Arya would somehow have to get his face to transform into him.

Well she is a trained assassin.

In the show, yes. The only other one is the Mountain. And is she really going to kill the Mountain?
In the books you are correct.
