No... Because it is inevitable.

If you think about it you realize that the longer you get to live the more you hurt. And this is if you are lucky enough to keep living.

You just have to keep on rolling with it. Some days are good and some are bad. If you can get 3 days past the really bad ones you will feel much better as long as you don't numb your feelings with alcohol or other substances.

No. Been through to much already at age 47. Two time stage IV Lymphoma fighter. Diagnosed at age 40 and clear for 5 years after being told I had a 30% survival prognosis. Lost a 13 year job at age 39 where I went from being a VP in waiting to shite canned by the new management after an acquisition. Lost my best friend from childhood at age 38 to cardiac arrest. Have buried my mom at age 25 and all 4 grandparents since age 35. Watched my wife struggle with a carcio angioma in her spinal cord that only 4 Neurosurgeons in the US had ever excised. She had a 100% chance of becoming paralyzed without the surgery and 50% with the surgery. This surgery took place 3 weeks after my stem cell transplant. She walks normal today. This with 4 children under age 14 at the time and the youngest being 2.

Been through to much to be fazed by anything less than my wife or kids dying in an accident or by illness. I have a better job 8 years later working as a VP/Sales for a competitor of my former employer. Oldest child heading to GT this fall to work towards a degree in Bio-Molecular & Chemical Engineering. Three more high achievers on deck working towards the example she has set. Not sure how we made it through but we did and as good as things are now I know how quickly it can all change. If it does, I will deal with again and open another chapter in my book.

Deal with the suffering when or if it comes. It almost certainly will. Face it head on with your head held high and work through it. Just don't fear it.

The unexpected is going to happen. That's life. I do think at times, about what will happen next. It seems like it is always a matter of time before something unfortunate will happen to us or the people in our lives, but it goes the other way as well.

It's just a part of life. Outside losing a child I don't think there's much that can faze me at this point. Been through a lot, diagnosed with cancer a year ago.

It's really one big adventure. Learn to adapt and there will be little suffering

Obsessed over it for a good 6 month period when I was 28ish. Caused a lot of anxiety.

Got over. Things are well, i know they wont last, but that period of time made me emphasize spending time with loved ones, doing good by people, my dogs, and in general life.

I dont worry much about it now.

Plus I had the flu last week, doctor said he couldnt pull the plug.. because there was no plug... dick.

No wondering about it. The closer I get to 40 (only 2 years out) the more I'm falling apart. I'm in good shape (6' 190) but i feel like shite. Stomach issues, high blood pressure, neuropathy in the hands and feet..... I feel like I'm 70, not 38. I guess I just played too hard too long.

Always enjoy the good times; and, at least for me, I live by the principle that 100 years from now, no one is going to care that you worked an extra 2 hours at the office today and didn't see the family.

I know there's tragedy just around the corner and one day its going to find me. I'll deal with it the best I can whenever it does find me, but until then, I'll just keep doing whatever it is I'm doing.

Not really because it's out of my control.

I have been down for about a year now because I can see what is around the corner. To be frank, this particular issue mostly out of my control. I have bad days and weeks when I absolutely have to stay distracted.

I just cope and prepare for what will eventually happen.
