A lot of you guys just wanted something, anything, to happen, regardless of whether it is a good move or not. I'm not so sure that I'm excited about Rondo.

Yea I think many wanted something to happen but I think this is pretty solid/safe signing for one year

I don't think you'd get the same response if we traded for Reggie Jackson

I mean yes but also we kinda needed a backup guard at this point. So now they should be able to sign D.C. And fill out the roster

I didn't want to be the first to say it but I am skeptical as well.

We brought in Finch to restructure an offense around our big men facilitating like in Denver. And Gentry has said he will continue to heavily incorporate the pick and roll as well.

Neither of which are in alignment with what Rondo brings. He surprisingly is not a very good pick and roll player, he doesn't give you much off ball, and he harms spacing. If he runs with the first unit I don't even know how you run a Finch offense(or Gentry for that matter) with such poor spacing.

Defensively though the team should be strong. And Rondo is great in transition. And if it is primarily to lead the second unit things make more sense.
