People choose lifestyles/purchases they cannot afford. Most of these decisions are based on ignorance and/or covetous.
It's sad indeed, but those who are responsible should not bare the burden of there negligence.

And there's your mistake - you think people suffering health problems made bad choices, rather than being inflicted by something they largely had no control over.

And your mistake is thinking that the government can fix anything. Theft is a very short-term budgeting solution.

The #1 cause of death in this country is heart disease. The overwhelming #1 cause of heart disease is obesity. Also, the #1 health risk in this country is obesity. 37% of AA men are obese, 50% of AA women are obese, and a lot of white people are also obese. Obesity is an option. Everyday I get out of bed and exercise, a lot. Then I eat really clean, which is not the tastiest shite. And then I deal with my kid's whining and bitching because I won't let him eat poorly. I don't have major health problems because of the decisions I make everyday. My family is much less likely to have health problems for the above mentioned reasons. Now those of you who don't exercise and eat healthy, stop taking my fricking money because you lack discipline and think the world is out to get you!

It's very important to not cherry pick my response and keep it in context!
