If there is a chance to add another superstar to your franchise, I feel like you have to do it and see how it plays out. Acquiring Boogie is an experiment that you have to take a chance on and we should all wait and see how it works this season.

Jrue had us by the nutsack because if you don't sign him, we would've had like $16 in cap space to sign a free agent to replace him. Jeff Teague got 19 so we basically had no choice. It will be nice to have Jrue in camp and healthy for a full offseason. This was due to the compounded effect of the past bad signings having us cap tied.

I'm not ready to give up on Hill just yet, but he needs to step up and show me something this year. I attribute all of our current issues to the Asik signing.

I don't agree on the experiment or that they had to make the move. That is the type of move a perennial contender makes to put them over the top. Not a sub .500 team to make the playoffs. Having two premier post players is redundant and a luxury we can't afford. We could have stood pat and kept to the plan (if there ever was one)..

It all goes back to the Tyreke Evans trade.

You give up Vasquez and, more importantly, Lopez to get Evans. This leaves you with a gaping hole at the 5. In order to fill the hole that you created to bring in a redundant piece, you have to overpay for Asik, giving up a first. Then, when Asik expires, you are left in the same situation as we were in this year with Jrue. You can let him walk, but you're left with no ability to replace him, so you overpay again. Unfortunately, overpaying Jrue this year, means that you'll be capped for the foreseeable future after maxing out Cousins next year.

We've been throwing bad money after bad money for about 4 years now and nobody in the organization can apparently see what's been obvious the whole time, Demps is in over his head.
