You realize it's news worthy regardless of whether it is an attempt to make trump look bad or good?
I mean it's a top headline across the political spectrum. And if in fact the person who set up the meeting was a Dem operative engaged in part in a DNC strategy to entangle Trump then isn't it a good thing that it's being reported?
Which still doesn't make much sense because the mere fact he met with a Russian who claimed to have damaging info on Clinton was still a poor move. And if it was still set up by a Dem operative he barely knew it makes Trump Jr all the more the idiot for taking it.

Good lord - opposition research is part of politics - if Hillary knew that Putin himself had a tape of Trump they would have moved heaven and earth to get it. They think this is a gotcha it's hilarious

Where did you see this reported? My understanding was that she was using "I have dirt on Hillary" as a pretext to get a meeting. Then she talked about what she really came there for...getting the US to repeal the Magnitsky Act (which the Russian government is hellbent on doing).

It takes a long time when you are trying to make shite like this up. There are too many bases to cover. Come tried to do it and failed and now there are too many people in the know for them to keep wraps on the criminal activity they were carrying out.

Its not going away anytime soon because of Trump's past dealings with Russian mafia types when he was down and out after his bankruptcies. Watch as much of this as you can take.

Impeachment for this isn't happening.
I have said before, Trump isn't smart enough to pull of this sort of fraud.
