Oh, that reminds me. Bob said ULL won the State Championship last year for highest RPI in Louisiana.

ULL with the moral victory.

Playing Louisville in basketball most certainly would boost RPI win or lose.

You're right. ULL would not boost RPI.

I do kind of feel for schools like ULL. With many sports putting such an emphasis on OOC scheduling and RPI, P5 schools are going to give fewer opportunities to smaller conferences than they already do. The Big Ten has already mandated that their members schedule at least one P5 opponent outside of the league for football.

I do feel for schools like ULL, but I don't feel bad for ULL. Once I realized the penis envy they have toward LSU, they lost all sympathy from me.

Louisville will absolutely boost RPI, that's just a ridiculous statement

Agree 100%. Because playing all those other cupcakes improves the RPI so dramatically. We are so much better off for playing Wofford, North Florida, Texas Southern and let's not forget the MIGHTY NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL. Thank goodness we did not waste RPI rankings by playing ULL over these RPI boosting powerhouses.
