So feather blades are good, but just use them in any razor, or are they specific to their own razor?

Thinking of giving safety razors a try.

Use them in any safety razor. They're stupid sharp.

If you start mixing and matching it becomes an obsession, almost. I find, as do other serious shavers, that I'm getting my best shaves with Astra blades or Shark. Although I have had decent with Feather, as well.

I wouldn't recommend feather blades starting out. Once you get used to it then sure, but those things can cut diamonds it seems like.

You definitely should give safety razors a try! YouTube has some great safety razor tutorials so you can learn how to shave with them without cutting yourself up.

If you do try the safety razor report back with your thoughts!

I would not suggest a novice start out with Feather blades. Unless, you like the "I was on the losing end of knife fight kinda look".
