It is weird when you aren't use to it. I stayed in a town in Alabama once and if you wanted something other than beer you had to buy it before 7pm because that's when the state run liquor store closed.

Firearms like this are admittedly pretty stupid to own unless you live in Alaska. I don't leave town without it.

Somewhat related- the first ever confirmed mountain lion was spotted near my hometown. It likely traveled 1000+ miles to get there.
