we only have internet. All we do is stream which is why we pay for the top package... we haven't had any consistent issues until about 3 weeks ago. Now it seems like anytime we stream anything there is some type of buffering that occurs. When you call customer service they have you go to a website to test your download and upload speed and then brag that you are getting better numbers then what you are paying for.

Asked the customer service rep "if the numbers are so good then why do we keep having buffering issues?" To which his response we something to the effect of "I don't know but it isn't your internet"

Restart your wifi router and streaming device

If you know your way around command prompt, you can see if there are lags connecting to netflix by running trace routes from a laptop directly connected to the Cox modem

But I'd contend this is more than likely an issue with your router and its connection to your streaming device

FYI, I have a Firestick that since the recent upgrade, buffers at an unusable rate. I restart my router and FS which solves the problem.
