Or expanded = imagine if Trump would just assign another 30 judges to the 9th circuit and make all of them 30 yr old Scalia wannabes. Let the current justices sit in the corner and vent their spleens with meaningless dissents to the conservative rulings !!!!

Oh hell no

We don't wanna go down that road, we wouldn't like the blowback when dems retake power...

Bust that sucker into three parts, scatter the rogues and appoint conservatives to outnumber them.

Then you can rein in that bunch on the West Coast

Leave them right where they are

they show the mainstream American what can happen when liberals are allowed to make decisions.

they are the best political advertisement we could hope for.

A bill sponsored by Arizona’s senators would group Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada and Washington state in one circuit.

The other circuit would include California, Oregon, Hawaii and the territories of Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands.

(that would make too much sense for it to happen.)

The 9th Circuit is made up of 44 judges. The court’s headquarters is in San Francisco. Other courthouses are located in Pasadena, Portland and Seattle.

In all, 16 judges were chosen by Republicans and 28 by Democrats. Here's a tally of appointments by president:

Richard Nixon: 2

Jimmy Carter: 7

Ronald Reagan: 5

George H. W. Bush: 2

Bill Clinton: 14

George W. Bush: 7

Barack Obama: 7

Jimmy really appointed the true loons that are starting to retire.

They can and should be split into two circuits. Should have already happened. Trump needs to take care of this while he is in office and has the House and Senate to do it.

The 9th must be disbanded for its currupt view of the law and constant waste of taxpayer funding via its consistent record of being overturned

I'd ask you for a link showing that the 9th circuit is the most overturned circuit court (percentage-wise), but I wouldn't want you to waste your time looking for something that doesn't exist.

Don't believe everything you hear on Fox.

LOL, Obama's cronies knew where to go shopping....9th, New York, Maryland, and Hawaii. There's a reason they didn't go judge shopping in a place like Texas.

You mean just like the challenges to DAPA and DACA being filed in Texas or challenges to the drilling moratorium being filed in NOLA?

Everyone venue shops.

In some ways, SCOTUS agreed that the original EO was not acceptable. They didn't affirm the EO. They affirmed a modified version of it.

They only approved parts of it for now....they will officially go over this case in its entirety in the fall. They aren't done yet!
