Freeman is struggling at the plate in general, not just bunting.
But that fricking catcher yesterday was unbelievable defensively. I doubt another catcher in the country could do what he did on those 2 pop up bunts. Freeman probably would have gotten 1st against any other catcher on those.

Because Freeman popped both bunts up, he wasn't going to leg out anything for a hit. The base runners each time correctly went back to first avoiding potential DPs.
Whether the catcher caught it or not, one guy was going to be out, The runner or Freeman.
