Abort! Abort! Abort! That car has had dead bodies in it. You don't want nothing to do with that bad gris gris!

This.
If it were the 3.8, I would do it. But the 3.1 wasn't even half as good. It might get to 150,000 miles, but it's definitely not guaranteed.

The info said it's clean. Really, really clean. They used "really" a LOT.... I say, buy it.

Was wondering if it's hard to find parts if something goes wrong,
It's a GM W Body, they made millions of those cars. Parts finding should never be an issue for them.
I wouldn't spend that much on a 20+ year old grocery getter from up North IMO.

Where are you going to go with it? Church and the bingo parlor?

I would be all over it if it were a 1978-1988 Cutlass Supreme Brougham (bro-ham) with velour.

That's a G Body Gm car. It's the last of the mid sized V8 RWD cars they ever made. They were good cars back in the day. Some are rising in value like the Hurst Olds, Buick Grand Nationals and a Monte Carlo SS.
If you need cheap transportation, go for it.

On a car that old with that low miles I would want to know back story did it ever sit a long time can be a big issue, the 3.1 and 3.8 were good motors that was pretty easy to work on, but honestly I've had Yankees come down buy cars from me and pay 3 times what it's worth cause of the rust issues up north

No offense but if you are considering that for your work car I hope you are working an entry level job with no opportunity for advancement

Kelly Blue book says $1300.00 for one with 148,000 thousand miles. Due some research, 1500 to 1700 would be tops for me. If they trade it in,they would get 500 tops.
