In all fairness to the NOPD, what were they supposed to do? Jump in a car and drive to Hattiesburg to take a report? People should have stayed and made a report if that was what they wanted. People expect the police to magically wave a wand and make things better.
The whole shooting at cars thing is alarming though. Is this a serial shooter like out in Phoenix or just local kids doing their thing?

Why can't the police take the info over the phone? Once I got out alive after having my car shot up, I don't think I'd turn around and go back.

I'm guessing you've never been shot at. Plus, strange area and no guidance, pull over and ask for directions to the nearest police precinct in NO East? I swear I bet you voted for Mitch.

Either way it means it will most likely happen again (if true).
