First of all you cant STOP someone from feeling the desperation and pain that leads to an attempt on their life.
That pain comes from inside, DEEP INSIDE. Perhaps caused by past trauma, perhaps its chemical. Regardless its not something you can control.

Right now you probably need to find a therapist yourself, get some tools you can use to recover so that when shes ready you can be there for her.

Sorry for your predicament, but run for your life. It will never get better and if you want a shot at a normal life, you need to get out while you can. Prayers man.

Not to be complete OT baw but first social acceptable time to break up do it
This will ruin your life hard enough to be happy for yourself much less drag someone with you

You saved her in the past. Keep saying that to yourself. She didn't kill herself in the past because you talked her out of that. I know what it's like to beat yourself up over terrible shite, but you saved her in the past. She's alive today because of you.
