I've been getting bashed all night long on SC by my other beta sec school slam pieces, Tyrone and ole yeller and I'm cool as a cucumber because I believe.

These baws melting... Was it a good game? Nope. Not even close...

But never give up.

This has "deliverance" written all over it! Dude Oregon state has a coach that won two nasties and has a loaded roster. Being from the south doesn't mean jack.

Yes but it's definitely going to be tough for anyone on this side of the bracket to beat Oregon St twice

It is at this very moment that I wish baseball did like the Softball World Series does. With our loss tonight, we would have switched brackets. In our next game we would play an elimination game, then either have to beat Florida or TCU twice. Not that those would be gimmes, would I'd much rather take my chances with one of them rather than the Beavers.

Heck, it's still possible, I'll give you that.

Get through Florida St on Wednesday with Poche and Hess, plus the huge embarrassment we got tonight.

Lange on Friday, he's coming off a bad game and this would be his last hurrah, I honestly could see him shutting the Beavers down in game 1. Game 2, winner-take-all, ride the emotion with the bats. I'd be curious to see how Oregon St would handle it if their brilliant season got ambushed, would they be able to rebound or would they choke?

Of course that's the best shot we have left, but teams have done it before.

Did anybody watch Le Mans this past weekend? Early in the race, one of Porsche's prototype cars lost a hybrid motor. They had to take apart the front of the car, change the motor and put it all back together, which took close to an hour. They could have given up. No chance that car wins. No chance it even gets on the podium. Guess what? It did win.

So I don't care if we're just delaying the inevitable. That's all a baseball season is anyway for all but one team. So let's delay it some more. Maybe we'll be that team.

We wouldn't have beaten Tulane the way we played tonight.

And didn't. They have swept us 2 years in a row so maybe another example would be better...but I like the enthusiasm. I believe.

No reason to be angry about it. We got derailed today. The Walker thing was the catastrophe that we couldn't withstand. Even if we get by FSU, which there is a good chance, you aren't beating OSU with what's left.
