You do realize it was the closest game we had with bama it sometime don't you?

Actually it was the worst loss to them in Tiger Stadium since 2002.

Very good summary of this program. I saw parts of it.

I liked the enthusiasm of both Coach O and Coach Canada.

Donte Jackson said he runs a 4.24 forty. Booger McFarland tells Donte that he weighs 290 pounds and that if Donte was 115 pounds heavier that Booger would be faster than him. Ha Ha

They should race with Donte pulling a 115 lb sled. Would be hilarious

That's an exciting thing and I think will create a challenge for the people we play, hopefully.

That's exactly what Coach Canada said.

He seems to be very modest even though he was the only offensive Broyles award candidate and the only OC to beat Clemson last year. And that was with Pittsburgh talent. Can't wait to see what he does with LSU talent.

Seems like the usual responses we get every year.

I'm still taking a wait and see approach. And from the words of Canada, hopefully.

You don't have to tell me. Last year I was called an idiot more times than I have posts. We had Les Miles, Cam Cameron, and Bradley Dale Peveto and LSU fans were expecting some king of miracle. I tried to temper expectations and was labeled an idiot. Guess who wasn't the idiot.

I can understand. LSU played well enough on defense last year to win every game. They still have the DC - Aranda but lost a lot to the draft. Defense could be decent but who knows.

The offense should be better than what they had under Cam Cameron.

Is it enough to make up for the defensive and offensive losses to the NFL? Who knows, but I am pretty damn excited to find out.

I'm not talking about point spread. I'm talking about the game itself which was tied in the 3rd quarter and was a real battle until the 4th when not being able to move the ball got to the defense.

My point was that if Les Miles had played bama this way every season home or away then beat up on every other opponent the way we could and should have then he would still be here. We struggled with almost every opponent then the minute he was let go our offense opened up and started putting points on the score board in every game. The games we won we destroyed the opponents. The FL game was still fun to watch because we were successful until we got close to the endzone. Which at least looks like we simply need to fix that piece of the offense not the entire offense. Les made our offense look pedestrian at best. We struggled to pick up first downs in complete halfs with a huge competition gap on many occasions. We also had the occasional butt stomping but LSU is better than what we've been seeing.

And you're still wrong. Two of those losses were in overtime and in the other Alabama scored the winning touchdown in the final minutes. You made a bullshite statement. Don't be like Tiger Ree, just own it and move along.
