Players colluding to build super teams is the fault of the players (see Lebron, Wade, Durant). This is the issue.

GMs building superteams is not the fault of the players (see Curry, Thompson). This is not this issue.

When I think of "super team" in this context, I definitely think of forming a team via trades and free agency, not through the draft and development. GS is definitely somewhat of a super team with the addition of Durant, but the past two years they were definitely not, they were just a great team. Miami certainly was and Cleveland was definitely more of an attempt to form a "super team" than GS, though I'd question some of their choices.
