Me and my brother used to fight over the pulley bone. A spicy pulley bone would be the crown jewel of any three piece mixed.

What the hell is a pulley bone? Is this something most people know?
Is it a "piece" that's cut with the oysters on it?

I don't understand why they don't have gizzards.

Danny's fried chicken in Houma has livers but no gizzards.

I know Southerners like to make up shite and feel superior when others don't know that they mean, but you didn't really provide an answer....

Gizzards and gravy is one of my favorite meals.

Yankee motherfricker! I provided your arse with a picture. What else does your nonculinary white bread arse need?

I googled it. So it's just the wishbone (which is the much more common name)?
If you have enough meat around the wishbone remaining to make it it's own piece, you aren't breaking down the chicken correctly.

Well, picture 1 and 3 looks like generic friend chicken thighs. Picture 2 looks like a salmon fillet.

I'd love to see everyone in this thread's body mass index.

The pulley bone is cut from the front of the chicken, taking part of both breasts, prior to their separation.
It's "old school" butchering. Not done much, if any, now.

Yep. Try to educate some of these yankee sob's, and they throw a fit. Ridiculous.
Civil discourse is a lost art.
