Stay away from epic...there is a reason only a few dealers in la sell them. Cajun dropped them due to the issues with my buddies boat.
Supposively they were being cheap in the transom...had a void instead of solid fiberglass. My buddies splashwell on the transom cracked in two spots and had to be sent back. That experience was a nightmare and their customer service is garbage. After this Cajun dropped them. My buddy kept the boat but they didn't do a good job and Cajun had to repair it more and fix it right.
Now they said they fixed the issue but who knows. As far as ride and layout they are amazing boats I love my buddies but the quality is shite and that's why they are so cheap. Just my two cents. I hope you have a new one with a solid transom if not good luck
Go do a search on the hull truth and other sites about them.

lol. well that promising. I did hear that the dealer i bought mine from stopped carrying them for the same reason. I know that they have just recently had a full change of leadership at the factory as mine had to go back in Jan for some warranty work and they took it back there as I was so close and it was a shorter turn around time than the dealer. they actually fixed some issues i caused and not warranty issues. but yes, if there are problems like that, I wouldn't recommend it but knock on wood, i have not had any of these. I also did hear that some of the cracking issues that came up were from people towing with the jack plate all the way up but not sure how true that is. That came from the dealer. they claim that they stopped carrying them due to epic not backing them in a law suit for the same issue but not for the issue, but who knows.
Not sure of price and quality but I have been seeing a lot of Sea hunt CS in Galveston and Kemah. They are sharp looking boats
