The overthrow of the Shah of Iran was certainly a wake up call. Iran was becoming very modern and westernized and then they turned backwards a few centuries.
It will be interesting to see if Turkey suffers the same fate.

What happened with Muslims?
I know the attacks have been going on for a while, but it seems that before 9/11 you just didn't hear much about it. You didn't hear about this Sharia Law bullshite either. What has happened to change these people? I'm not so naive to think there weren't attacks before 9/11 but the number seems to have increased substantially.
At the same time the establishment needs us to fear/hate them in order to back their decades-long agenda in the Middle East.
It's all just a coincidence.

Islam has been a barbaric, savage religion since day 1.
Do a little bit of reaserach and you'll see Islam has been tightly coupled with brutal violence since the beginning.
Mohamed committed countless acts of violence and immediately after he died the Islamic world plunged into civil war with each other while simultaneously continuing war against the rest of the world.
This war raged for 1300 years until the West gained the upper hand thanks to technology, but the cancer of Islam has remained and been bidding their time waiting to strike and now the West has lost it's will to fight and they are at our throats again.

I have a creative theory on this and why they decided to start coming to spread their shite to the West. Muslims by and large live in total shite holes, but they were totally ignorant to the outside world as a whole. Why wouldn't they assume that the rest of the world is as big of a piece of shite as they live in?
Then something changed: photographs and videos. They soon realized that the whole world doesn't actually suck, and that they've been fed a lie. So they get much more pissed off than they have in the past and start actively trying to ruin the rest of the world for us to get on their level. Keep in mind that the 9/11 hijackers the night before went to the strip club.
They're jealous, they see our very way of life as sinful, and they're pissed off enough to either directly attack the Western world or use Western processes against themselves to destroy it and turn our countries into pieces of shite as well.
It also may explain why we don't get this expansionist principles from Indonesia, because all in all it's on some good beautiful land, and seeing pictures of New York isn't going to piss them off.
